Contents

Introduction

Several of the missions in Galaxy Legion are arranged in "chains" of 2, 3 or more missions. You must finish these missions in order, each mission unlocks the next mission in the chain once it is "Finished" (completed so that it goes away).

Most chains begin as fortnightly "story missions". While the new ones are active you can complete them in the "wrong" order, ignoring or only partially completing some or all of the missions. When they are later archived and added to the "normal" mission list, you will be required to complete the missions in their proper order (e.g. if you have finished the 3rd mission, you still have to do the first and second to unlock the fourth).

All progress in fortnightly missions is saved when they are archived, so you cannot finish any of the missions twice (if you finished a mission while it was active, you will skip it next time you come to that chain).

Amounts shown are the totals for finishing the missions. Requirements marked with "?" indicate that there may be a requirement apart from completing the previous mission, ie certain amount of NPC kills, certain amount of scan etc. Requirements or Enemies Faced marked with "-" indicate no needed amount of scan/cloak etc. or no NPCs at the end of each completion.

Race Unlocking Chains

Some mission chains can unlock playable races. These were formerly included at the bottom of the Missions page, but have been moved here for clarity. To unlock a race you must finish the final mission of the relevant chain, upon completion you will receive an artifact which will usually have the word "Pact" in its name. Activating this will add the new race to your list of playable races but will not change your race.

To become the new race, you must purchase a race change for 20 Galaxy Points or use a race change artifact (Sphere of the New Era or Glaviz Device). Each of these methods will allow you to change your profession at the same time, should you wish to do so. Some Unlockable races are able to use professions that are not available to the starting races.

NOTE: I recommend obtaining the required artifacts before starting the missions. For example, I obtained at least 470/500 flux probes from my legion. If you ask them and offer a small payment, you can get a lot of the artifacts in a short amount of time.

As for the Subspace seekers, I offered 1 kurenite each. I now have 80 saved up, and I'm only on "The Aevax Experiment."

Non-race chains

Galaxy Legion also has several mission chains of 3 or more missions which do not unlock a race, but may give good rewards (ship modules, planet structures, extra npc slots etc.) or higher than usual XP/energy ratios. Generally the later missions in any chain give the best rewards.

Two-link chains or "double missions" are not included on this page as they are extremely common, and generally self-explanatory from the Completed Mission Summaries table.
