Corrupted Influence Vision of Oruas Hoigra's Disclosure

Daily Mission Briefing

As You're Aware, the Eye recently revealed vivid details regarding a grim attack initiated by the Lutuma. The leadership held an emergency session, and have authorized a pre-emptive strike against the Lutuma in Oruas.

Mission Dialogue

Corrupted Influence: The visions are truth..
These recent visions of their attacks on us... it is a lot to take in.?

Corrupted Influence: As we've seen, they have been amassing a large fleet, and preparing devastating new weapons.
The vision was clear, but I'm curious about their motive to attack us...

Corrupted Influence: Now that they've regained their strength, it seems they want to take the Eye back.
We eliminated their old government. The new leadership wanted nothing to do with the Eye.

Corrupted Influence: The Eye has shown us the vision... and it is truth. They are coming, and this gives us an opportunity to execute a counteroffensive.
Oruas is a long journey even for the fastest of ships. A defensive strategy might be a better option.

Corrupted Influence: We won't neglect our guard, but given the effort the Lutuma have been taking to grow their armada, we need to attack them at the source to ensure a greater victory.
In that case, we'll need a new set of command codes to get through their defense grid.

Corrupted Influence: We'll have to proceed through Oruas without them. We cannot wait for their command ships to approach... and it's unlikely we'll have the same success hacking them this time.
I've always trusted the Eye's visions, but something doesn't feel right.

Corrupted Influence: Commander...
Yes?

Corrupted Influence: I need to trust that your faith in the Eye is unquestionable. You are keeper of the Eye Chamber, after all, and you should not have lingering doubts that cloud your judgement.
Apologies for my tone. The visions are truth. What are the next steps?

Corrupted Influence: We have some existing data on the defense grid that was used during the coup. We may be able to confuse their long-range targeting sensors with some modifications. It should help minimize the losses.
The visions also showed new weapons, and some appeared to be drill beam modifications.

Corrupted Influence: We should run some simulations for a way to deal with them from a distance. Even the lower-powered updates they did to their Extractor drills were enough to put strain on our fleet.
I'll get started right away.

Corrupted Influence: The visions are truth.
