Instead of showing just "463/1000 experience" to tell you what you need to level up, any chance you can automatically do the math for us?
Example: 463/1000 (537) experience

+1 to this idea. I would want ease of use to optimize what missions I'll do to max out my energy regen at filling a rank.

Yep. That will be great idea that can be easily be implemented in matter of minutes heh. I had to do math sometimes as I am close to rank up so I can get most use out of energy.

The whole point was to be able to see it without having to search for it (hover over), etc. By using hover over, it is essentially hidden from view. If it's a space issue, how about if in the bar you put how many experience points you need and make the hover over be the total number of experience you've earned (basically, opposite of what you have now).

I dunno. I like hover-over method whenever I need to see the remaining experience. I don't like cluttered items all over the LCD screen with anything that doesn't require informing me 100% of time..

I agree that I don't want to clutter the screen with a lot of stuff I don't need to see a large majority of the time (say 70% of the time). However 99% of the time I want to see how much EXP is left until I level up, not the total amount of XP I am at and the total amount for the next level. The way it was and is now, means I'm constantly using a calculation method (head, calculator, excel) to figure out whether I should be running mission X or mission Y, or mouse over the XP. The reason I constantly need that info to know Whether I am about to bump into a rank-up and need to burn as much energy in one lump as possible or I'm far away and don't have to worry about running a few battles and missions.

Heh, not everyone are min/max players like you. I don't use exp remaining information til I am close to rank up. I just play to enjoy without calculating everytime.. I'm sure that applies to many players (I would bet majority) here..

I think that everyone benefits from seeing what you need to level up (ex, 527 needed to level up) where as the hover only helps those who know it is there and/or those who think to check it. As I said, I don't care what my "total have/total needed" is, I bet most don't. Most I think care what their "needed is" (ie, total needed - total have).

Ya I am good with how it is now. There is a good chance that people will find it anyway. I kept waving my pointer over my rank before many times lol.
