Personally, I'd stop ranking and get your research up. Artifacts from the base will also help your ship grow stronger.

As for the information supplied, it's not really enough. You should look to include crew, hourly productions, hull, shields, energy, attack, defense, cloak, scan, decks, which modules you have researched, what your planets are generally like, where you hope to head with the game (missions/PvP/NPC).

Kills, deaths, scans performed, etc (everything on the page where you can see these) should be included too, but I'd say those are purely optional for an analysis of your ship - they're not as important and not required.

if you want to see how you compare against 10 pilots: ship log showdown. figure out which of those flight paths look interesting to you and then more focused advice can be provided.

also, see Sparky's compilation of previous how am i doing topics for other ideas.

PVPing ... death from players ... I trip more omicron traps than anything.
I barely get disabled by players. The Armory has helped since then.

Anyhow sorry about that, I would say if you're PVPing, that I would drop your motion compensator MK III and that proximity jammer mkII, and use that 35 decks for either some extra hull; as your hull as it is is aweful low (and defense mods take up a lot of space, I would ignore them until much later with the exception of BM50s and Dark Ring Thrusters).

If your looking for some cloaking I would suggest completing the glavis incident mission for those two zolazin jammers, 20 decks for 90 cloak is a good deal early on. as well try to get a raid whenever you disable someone so you can work toward getting those protean armouries, 200 hull for 8 decks makes them among the most efficient hull modules in the game.

see, that's the difference between us ... you assume people are stupid while i assume that they are smart.

the point of the charts is NOT so that she can compare her current stats against the stats of those on the charts, but to figure out WHICH model or combinations of models might be of interest. once the OP indicates that, then more focused advice can be provided.

from the charts, the ones who pvp more will have a lower npc to pvp ratio. from those, she can decide at what rank certain objectives should be met. once she has set those goals, then she can ask how to get there from where she is at.

Back to topic, I think it's a little too early to say how well you are doing, but you are obviously in a reasonable legion to be getting 50K arti per day, so they should be able to give you some good advice. The general rule is to get your red badges as early as possible, so that means attacking other ships. To do that get the best attack and hull you can. Don't add too many decks at this stage, use your rank points for tactical officers and engineers. If your legion is helpful, get them to alert decent research planets for you, minimum size of massive gas, rich research if possible.
Most of all, have fun!! Try everything and find out what you enjoy most in the game, PVP, NPC, stealing planet, base battles, missions, etc, and tailor your ship to that.

The last sentence is the best advice you'll get on the forums. There are good experienced players here who can give you any answer you need, but if you make a 'how's mmath ship' thread it will be assumend you are interested in pvp, if you have a playstyle let us know so we can better help you. If you have a goal be up front with that we can set you in the right direction in attaining that goal, i remember when i first started i wanted to do everything and be a jack of all trades, i was told my ship would suck and that it was a dumb idea.

keep your goal in mind, and you'll do fine
