Why are the upgrades taking so long?

The Vetheral don't require them. They have no sense of priority to do so.
The new protocols seem quite important to cyborgs.

We want to level the... advantage that the Vetheral have traversing the Nexus. Just to use it the same physical speeds.
I would assume Zolazin to have an innate advantage to the HardNode.

In some ways. But... it takes a great deal of power to push anything through the vastness of the Nexus, data especially.
