Professions
After deciding which of the Races is right for your character, you will be required to choose a profession. Like races, professions give powerful buffs to the player. Please consult this and the Races page before choosing in-game as after choosing it will cost Galaxy Points or a Glaviz Device or Sphere of the New Era to change these.

Passive Ability: Increases artifact production by 10%
Explorer

Passive Ability: Increases scanning by 20%
Fixer

Active Ability: Sabotage -- Destroy one standard attack or defense structure on an enemy planet, 8 hour cooldown
Spy

Passive Ability: Increases cloaking by 20%
