After deciding which of the Races is right for your character, you will be required to choose a profession. Like races, professions give powerful buffs to the player.

Explorer
20% extra scanning skill (available for Aerlen, Inergon, Sillixx, Human, and Drannik)
Builder
50% reduced upkeep (available for Inergon, Konqul, Sillixx, Vygoid, Zolazin, Drannik, Taltherian, Genetarr, and Lazuli)
Fixer
30% extra max hull strength (available for Aerlen, Konqul, Sillixx, Drannik, and Lazuli)
Biologist
30% extra Planet Population (available for Aerlen, Inergon, Sillixx, and Lazuli)
Excavator
10% extra Artifact production (available for Aerlen, Konqul, Taltherian, and Vygoid)
Miner
10% extra mineral production (available for Konqul, Human, Taltherian and Vygoid)
Hacker
30% extra hacking success chance (available for Aerlen, Human, Vygoid, Zolazin and Drannik)
Raider
30% extra raiding success chance strength (available for Konqul, Sillixx, Human, Taltherian, and Zolazin)
Saboteur
Grants Sabotage Ability (destroy standard attack/defense structures on enemy planets) (available for Zolazin)
