 New Idea for a New Race

Although I don't know what the race would be called, wouldn't it be nice if there was a race that , like the Kronyn, Mylarai, and Taltherians, has the ability to increase a planet's size like the other races increase resource availability? Or perhaps a race/profession that has a greater Mineral/Artifact/Research point capacity? Thoughts?

Let me expand on that a bit more. lol Pretty much its not going to happen because it would be way over powered. Free expanders? That would be better then all three of those other races put together. And something that would raise your resource cap for free with no space taken on your planets is way to powerful as well.

I don't see a problem if it can be used on planets sized average or below.

could work if it had a max upgradable to very large and had say a 60 hour timer rather then a 40 hour timer, also chain would have to be very long/energy intensive!

Uh... avg + rings icy project planets, I've saw people start a project planet with an avg + SS/Rings, any race being related to +1 planet size is a definite no for Dan. He's going to lose money if this thing releases.

Meh still think it wouldn't be to op with proper limits. Besides people don't use quasis on anything below average so he'd still be making money off them.

If you are going to complain about him loosing money on quasi sales then isn't it hard to ask him to expand the terraformer dropping npcs past 2200? He is loosing money there to from all the people farming for them instead of buying them.

still no, no way.. again, why only for top ranks?

if anything, than boost to governor ability for events.

You could make it only a single space or maybe two, so lets say a 20 hr cool down and 100 energy to increase the size from let's say 35 to 36

Size isn't calculated like that. :| A 200+ hour cool down, combined with a 1000 energy cost usable only on planets Avg or smaller is about the only way that this'd ever release.

Thinking about it more maybe have it this way instead. You can only use it once on a planet ever. Once used it gets some sort of effect that doesn't do anything but say the size has been increased or something. It is all ways with it then and can't go away even if you abandon it, steal it, or what ever. Also you can only use it on worlds that are large or smaller. If I could do this I know I would take more large worlds out there to make them Very large then use the expanders I either find or buy to upgrade the world even more. You would also need to have it on something like a 72 hour timer. I think that this would even it out a good amount and wouldn't make the game to onesided.
