One of the larger problems in PVP at the moment is the disproportionate response by player Orgs (lookin' at you, DoO) to single attacks or hacks. Now before anyone thinks I'm on the 'Waaaahmbulance' here, bear with me. I'm not proposing a limiting game mechanic, I just want a visual way to know who is part of one of these player organizations. That way people will know who it is they are fighting before stepping into a bear trap. There has to be a way though to control who gets the Org badge, or else everyone would just slap a DoO badge on their account and never worry about an attack again.
It also would be a point of pride for the org members, something to distinguish themselves from others. Everyone wins.

would be a nice addition. it would have to be on the main ship page viewable by the attack button so there is no mistake. allow changes no more than once per week.
it wont stop DOO attacks because there are always those players that are 20+ levels above killing low levels. this guy was 60+ and picking on a lv 30+ repeatedly. the 30+ sends an alert to DOO member. DOO member kills the lv 60 in the same way he attacked the lv 30+. the lv 60 starts crying about being bullied by a higher level... tough. wasn't so bad when he was doing it huh?

Nice idea. However, I can see abuse on that too simply because there is no in-game organization system to prevent that abuse..
For example, what stops total asshat player (not DOO member) who decided to slap DOO org badge on just to scare players off and also damages DOO reputation. Also, there would be players who hate DOO can simply put DOO title on their ship and intentionally ruins DOO reputation by being total asshat etc... For that, I wouldn't want org badge in game because I have no control over who qualify to get org badge.. If Dan gives me control to assign DOO titles to players or remove from them then that'll work..

When organizations are added, it will be easy just to add tags to names (like in Guild Wars).

I suggested the idea for a small 14x10 flag that a player could add to there ships profile.
That would fit into the current system and give even non group members a way to be them selves a little bit more.

For now, I just avoid any ships/planets with huge legions. You can check before you attack...

I don't think people would purposely go all out to ruin a groups rep, probably more wannabes than anything. The groups have pretty much open membership already. I doubt an update will really supplant all of what FB is capable of. Really these tags may as well be targets.

Project Anarchy's admission is very limited, though it is designed for one person, "The Cothzorz". Project Anarchy may allow other in.....maybe...... a"Arbitor Khaos" and "Guyus Spoonicus" may be needed.
