i ( and probably alot of other people) have one planet, it was the first planet i scanned and occupied, and it is absolutely terrible! even with my mining probes i only get around 13 mining an hour from it. could the almight dan possibly give everyone (or nayone who wants one) either the galaxy points required to abandon colony or maybe some item that takes that planet of your list (other than star chart purger) and automatically abandons the planet? just a question

Well, you can win 5 Galaxy Points from the Daily Reward. Note the size of 'win'. Patience. Get those Daily Reward!

A simple solution would be to guanatee all new players first planet to be a decent one. Perhps a random selection between Desert, Volcanic, Oceanic, Terra, or Ice planets, with maximum resources of "Rich" (not Very Rich or higher), and maximum size of "Average" or "Large".
That means newbies will have at least one decent mine, artifact, or research planet to start and play with.
Also, this should keep newbies inerested in the game. I expect that some potential players are turned off when they get lousy first planets (Small size, Sparse resources or such) and can't do much because of it.

did not read your text because of your !#¤!¤ signature wall sounds like a personal problem. as to the original poster, i do agree with you here that a it sucks having a shitty starting planet that you keep for awhile. but you are given 10 galaxy points to start which means you can abandon your 2 worst planets(but you were probably overzealous and spent them on refilling you energy didnt you!) I like veristeks idea of a medium grade planet guaranteed to new players. maybe also a random gift box(plenty of other facebook games have them) the planet immune to attacks for 5 days artifact is chill, but with the 2 weeks of protection, this does not give immediate benefit to players and i am guessing that more than a few have used it before they broke out of protection... just a little food for thought also this should be moved to suggestions/ideas section

Ok..... 1: Moving this ASAP 2: Between getting 10 GP at the beginning of the game and the fact that though 1 crappy planet will slow you down at the beginning it wont be enough to do anything beyond that. We all have planets we wish we had better ones of, like my very abundant very large gassers. I need them in very rich and very massive!

How about a free planet for every player? If you can add one to a mission. The planet could just be a large sized planet with very abundant in all 3 resources. It would help out new players - and old players would also be able to get it. You'd just gain the planet in your galaxy charts when you complete the mission - but still have to pay for the colonization.

You mean, like a free Massive Exotic for the low, low mission price of 260 energy and 10 terraformers? I know I'D pay that for a Massive Exotic.

Hey, How about A (singular, meaning 1) galaxy point every time you level up? That would solve the problem since it costs 5 to abandon, so wait 5 levels and chuck it. Would save a whole bunch of extra coding to ensure noobs get a good planet. and it would be easier to implement.
Mafia Wars, Vampire wars, Farmville and others do this, i'm rather surprised Galaxy legion hasn't implemented this feature as well.
Would be nice if this was awarded retroactivly too for those that have reached high levels, but that might be pushing the generosity table, but in fairness if you were say level 65, you'd get 64 GP's and not 65 because you start off at level 1. and all other levels would net you 1 point in the future.
Just some food for thought.

I just thought of another way to have free GP. You get one per ended mission. They would go hand-in-hand with teir rewards. This allows them to be relative to rank, a bit more balanced, and it helps those who put the effort into Galaxy Legion, not just the people who power-rank.

Yea i can see higher level players taking advantage of this, just have them immune to planet size or resource increasing artifacts, you have a large very abundant everything planet, wont change, just is. still be able to put special structures on it, but cant be turned into a massive amazing planet by higher ranked players with artifacts to burn. a good counterpoint though tk. Just some food for thought. Love this, i generally refuse to spend money on facebook games etc, but at times i wish i could just spin that damn galaxy wheel(tempts me everyday) or buy an artifact i need. btw what does the galaxy wheel give? and maybe new players can spin it once or twice! i know i would be excited if i was just starting out and got to spin it

I think it should be added under the 'Galaxy Points' page.
