Where do i find this stuff? i need it for a quest, please help.

You find it by hunting NPCs so longs as the mission is active you can find them.

are the npcs the razor scout ships? if so is there a certain kind of ship that drops it or any?

Yes that is most likely an NPC. The NPCs ships you are looking for are the zolizen ships (the ones that are invading in the mission).

ive destroyed 2 npc ships and nothing droped from it =( now im out of energy

Keep at it as far as the mission goes you got 1 day 3 hours as of this post left till you will need to wait till the end of the story arch (which could be a few months) and the whole arch is archived.

well then i guess i wont get it done unless i get it tomarrow morning, because im leaving to go to my cabin tomarrow some time and wont have internet =/ so i guess im screwed

Dont worry hardshell, later you will be able to do the mission again as a regular one. You cant just disable ANY NPC and get the debris, you have to look for ZOLAZIN only. It should say something like Zolazin *ship class* for their name. Ill give you the reward, you have to highlight the text to see it.
(Glavis Device, lets you change race and proffesion, useful to some, not to others. Can be gotten three times.) The debris will apear in special area of trade tab. It shoud tell you if you got one, when you kill a Zolazin, hover over the message that says "Disable Reward" and it should tell you. If not, tell Dan.

is there a way to refresh the list of npcs? because no zolorin ships have showed up yet

if you killed the ones you did, many will have a timer (unless they are mission NPCs or the first two that showed when they where added).

So you should see a timer.

i went ahead and killed another ship, and wouldnt ya know a zolazin ship spawned, ill just have to wait for my energy to regen. i just hope that the debris is a 100% drop chance.
