I am lvl 15, all i have is an em scanner and tier 2 cloaking devices yet my kill score is undefeated with 21 player kills, is this a good kill ratio for lvl and what i have? how can i make it better?

At your level not really, just add Weapons and Hull and Defense take off the scan and cloak to add the attack modules. You should fast rank till around 50, so invest in energy.

Well, the cloak is probably a big thing helping to keep you undefeated.

True, But if he has more hull and defense if people try to to attack at that level the energy isnt all that good so they may give up.

at your level don't even worry about kill ratio or anything... find yourself a legion that likes wars, they'll fix you up and teach you if that's the way you want to play this game

I wouldn't drop the cloak. Sure at your level it probably weakens you considerably, but really, not being attacked trumps being stronger. There will always be someone stronger, but generally they play the way people said earlier, attack/hull/def. Which means they don't have the scan to see you. Play your cards right, take your time ranking up and building a strong ship while keeping a bit of cloak and it should serve you well. It worked for me.

also, dont attack anybody if you wanna keep your cloak. all the cloak in the world wont save you from an alert if u piss someone off.

oh.. and here's a tip... you get less retaliations at low levels if you're hacking or disabling... work on getting 4 decryption frames first, then work on getting 4 dominion cannons... you don't have to equip them now if you don't want to, just hold onto them

defence on a lvl 15 is not necessary... i tell new guys in my legion to get hull and attack and then go for their dominions.... as they are much easier at that level
