It would be great if there was a check box and button to the right of the "Receive Minerals Shipment" that allowed you to sell all of the minerals.

Yes, I can take a batch to the ship, sell them all, take another batch, sell them all but it would be much easier if I could just offload them all at once.

Also, is the s in minerals in "Receive Minerals Shipment" a typo? It doesn't sound right.

That is an awesome idea actually. Wonder why it hasn't been mentioned before. Dan is a really smart guy I am sure there is a reason he hasn't done it already.

I'm a bit confused. We already have "Sell All" option to sell all the minerals at once. What are you proposing exactly?

The "Sell All" we have will only sell what we have on our ship, in the cargo hold. I would like a sell all that will sell the entirety of what we have to be delivered to our ships.

Example, I have 5500/9500 minerals I can send to my ship in 500 mineral increments (as that is how much free cargo space I have). This means I have to click receive shipments 11 times and then check the box 11 times and hit sell all 11 times. I would like a "Sell Entire Shipment" button at the top next to the "Receive Minerals Shipment" button that would allow me to sell the entire 5500 at once. This would save on a lot of page reloads for me and make things faster.

At this point, I fill my mineral bar at least 1x a day so I would be a nice boost to just be able to sell them all at once. I imagine that there are people who are making a lot more minerals per day than I am and have less cargo space. Imagine the amount of reloads removed if there was a "Sell Entire Shipment" button.

Now do you understand?

+1 to this idea.

Saving reloads and stuff would help with server stress if anything.

I don't like this idea, you are essentially rendering cargo space useless. Plus after you've had time to gain artifacts, this isn't an issue anymore. I have 1200 cargo space and that is all from artifacts.

The whole idea behind the system is that your ship can only hold so many minerals, and you have to take those and sell them before your cargo hold can take on more. So selling all the minerals before they get to your ship doesn't really make sense, unless you want to turn your mining planets into a source of hourly income which can greatly reduce the cash flow altogether.

So instead of pulling minerals off a planet, the amount of credits that show up in your bank per hour would be based on the top mineral you are receiving. So early on that is dynite. If that planet mines 50 minerals an hour, the money added to your bank would be the sale of 50 dynite. Then you don't have to keep mining them, but if you go the easy route, you could lose a lot of money in the long run. This system would at least fit the theme rather than selling everything before your ship even hauls it. (To do this you would need two types of mining buildings, one for the cargo extraction and one for the automatic extraction.)

Its a work in progress.

I don't mind taking a loss to do this. The game is supposed to be fun. I don't find the aspect of grabbing minerals and selling them fun.

If you are worried about what you might be missing, you don't use the button, it is very simple. I can see a way to make it work and still have your cargo size count. In my example, I have to do 11 shipments to get everything. Instead, have the button, in the background, do the 11 shipments, sell them and give you your money. It is the same as if you had done it the long way. Everyone wins, Exotic matter can still go to your cargo space.

So you're saying a button that automatically fills your ship and sells each shipment of minerals untill your mineral points empty?

Sure. I don't care how it works so long as I don't have to keep doing what I don't enjoy.
