lol, i found mining to be useless at low ranks, so at your rank i had 130 mining. i applied my planet colonizations to useful resources that put me ahead of the competition. since then, i have switched to builder and built up some very large toxics. i now make a bit over double what my upkeep is (i make 2.4 billion a day and pay almost 1.1 billion upkeep) without builder, i would be paying near 2.2 billion upkeep, which although it is still less than my income, it provides me with very little 'wiggle room' to pvp and npc hunt for repairs. As i level i plan to gain more resources, but for now, im much happier having higher research and artifact than mining. and once i achieve a specific amount of mining to the point where i am making close to 25 billion a day, i will gladly switch to excavator.

well that means you can't buy anything people sell!!!!! I want buy stuff that other people sell!

lol i was still able to amass 17 billion credits with 130 mining per hour before i spent it on +10s. and it seems the currency of today is complex tech. not so much credits anymore.
