I'm at rank 128, mostly done questing, with some light NPC.
I'm aiming to finish the Glaviz and Stryll mission chains, but I was browsing around and found that my resources production levels were subpar compared to some of the others.

I'm running at
M: 727
A: 729
R: 1059
Vygoid Excavator, so base values for A and R are even lower.
I'm at Global Meshing finished right now and working on Quantum Assembly. Is the difference between them really that large? Most of my planets aren't "customized" with optimized stuff, but that's mostly because I haven't NPCed a lot for the boosts. The rest of my research is around the same tier or higher.

So I'm wondering, or rather, I'm not sure what I should do at this point. Should I finish the Glaviz chain for the extra NPC slots and mass NPCs for Terraformers (Steady pace)? Or should I hold still and boost my ship up with Artifacts (Slow Pace)? Should I powerlevel for Taltherian (Speed pace)? Or would you guys have other suggestions for me :/? I'm open to any criticism/comments/recommendations at this point.

this should be in the beginners hub but it works here as well. In my opinion I say go the steady pace, try to increase your artifact and research as much as you can right now. the artifacts you get you can sell for cash if you need it or if you get a good draw they will be ship stat boosters, and the research you need to better your ship and planetary structures. I'd say you should research planetary structures so you can get more resources. Also, if you were to do the zolazin mission chain and become a saboteur there are a lot of legions that would pay you to join them, so you'd never have to worry about money.

hmm, Well considering i have a Dyson, and Exotic(3). Im well above your productions at rank 124. How many planet slots do you have? I did a scan run and got very lucky so my slots will fill up as i get them. My advice is to slow down. Take a good look at your surrondings. Your research should go up by alot for your level if you just sit tight, In some occasions its good to speed rank around 5-10 ranks. Im fairly decent at this level, but slow ranking is making my tech go up faster.

Since you ay that you are mostly a mission player either your slow pace or steady pace would work for your style. I was much the same as you at your level and did switch to more NPC style and it did help. But if you are not much into the PVP side of things you are better off to do your missions, advance at the steady pace, do you planet structure research and you will be fine.
