One of my planets was recently invaded. I was able to get rid of the defenders, but was unable to invade that day. One of the guys from my legion was able to successfully invade the planet, and now we're curious if there is a way to transfer the planet.
Any suggestions?
Danke!

He alerts the planet, and then abandons the planet. Gives you 12 hours to colonize the planet?

Thier are two methods i'm aware of.
1. The curent owner uses 5GP to abandon the planet then shares the planet to the legion for you to colonize. However as GP = Real cash they may not be willing/able to do this
2. If you still have the planet in your database the current owner can leave the legion temporarily, once they have left they can remove all of it's defences leaving you free to re-invade. After which the player can rejoin the legion.

A leader who is not willing to appoint a secondary leader to give you your planet back is not a leader I would want. If he will not leave you could leave the legion as long as you have it in your database and he remove all attack and defense buildings and you can take it.

He's a nice guy; I just wasn't aware that you could change the founder's position...

I think you should arrange things with the legion leader so that, after your invasion timer resets, you can leave the legion and he can leave the planet undefended so you can retake it and then rejoin his legion.
If he won't agree to give it back to you, then I'd find myself a new legion.
Sort of off topic but I thought I'd ask it here anyway, does anyone know if the "Time Manipulator" artifact resets the invasion timer too?

To prove my novice status I abandoned a poor planet after having already invaded a better one earlier today and in hopes of upgrading into a second improvement there as well, but least I didn't have to waste a "Time Manipulator" in order to find out it wouldn't matter.

Ditto what everyone else said about the leader and your planet.
Paradox generators FTW!
