Konqulian ship had less attack stacks and almost no defense stats but yet did more damage then me. pretty sure there is something wrong their, also he had on no effects for boosting.

How does his ship size compare to yours?

Okay, there is more than attack and defense that effects the damage.

For a start, the numbers are random within a range. I don't know the exact formula but part of it is a randomly generated number.

Secondly, were you hitting the same each time? If so you had probably hit the damage cap. This can be low if your opponent has a small ship.

Next, did he have high scan? If so he might have gotten VERY lucky on the critical hits.

And lastly, are you sure he had higher stats, or are you just basing that around modules?

he probably had a high amount of tactical officers. that is the preferred tactic amongst low level konquls. plus, the attack from tac officers dont show up when your fighting them.
