Can you acquire galaxy points without having to pay hard cash. Most other games have ways of allowing you to get their game currency through various different measures.

I colonised a few poor planets early on and removed some but still have 2 I would like to abandon

yes very rare but you can get them as a daily reward. and there are also free offers that i have done for them in the past. by taking survays online take a while but you surly get the free points.

Where did you find the free survey (how did you come across it)

under offers and more then free offers.

Click on "Redeem Points" by the Galaxy Points icon, then click "Complete offers for more points". However, coming from someone who's filled out many of these surveys and never received ANY GP from any of them, it's not really worth the time.

did not say it was time afective but you can get them i have done it took forever and agreed time is long but they are free.
