Dan is probably the only one who will be able to answer this one, but when "Embattled Retreat" is archived, will we still be able to find the Octafari Leviathans? I have been looking, can't find one, and I want to know if I should stop since they will still be available later. Can you please answer this? I'm sure other people will want to know too.

I believe so. The mission states that the uncommon NPC's will continue to spawn until you complete the mission.

Yes. Once the mission is archived, the Leviathans will return

That's also true. This chain has got some pretty nice modules. I think the Kalvium platings are the best armor you could possibly want. Well, other than syncopated phase plating perhaps.

extremely rare is an understatement! -_- got 2/4 and got 1 more completion of the mission left. Not had one since we entered the second week of this mission And I've cleared a few hundred NPCs lol. I sware who ever owns the ship repair company is loving this mission chain! And that makes it clear, the levis are more uncommon then bosses XD I've had 6 bosses spawn and only 2 levis -_-

Once the mission is archived, I'm just going to leave it at 14/15 completions and wait for the 4 rift emitters. Perhaps once it is archived, the leviathans and asteroids will be easier to find because completion will be limited to those who finished earlier missions.

That only makes sense if there's a cap on how many can be spawned globally at any given time. Not having the clock running will make it easier, though.

Remember that there's hope until the mission's gone - I didn't see a single Leviathan in the first week of the mission, but now I've killed my four. They'll appear eventually.

There's no cap on spawning while the mission is active. Sorry folks. I've got one of those to scrap. I kill loads of NPCs. If you want them I think you just have to kill loads of NPCs instead of putting energy into the mission. There's a few days left. Just kill lots of NPCs. It's worth it anyway to find those TO Troop Carriers and get yourself and hyperterraformer device or toxic purifiers.

I'm not saying there is a cap, I'm saying that Dan will probably increase the spawn rate after it is archived, As players will no longer get the "cool new modules" until after they completed the large missions before them.

I agree with Zophah. Haven't found one, and have been looking hard the whole time. I think the spawn rate should be increased a bit for the second time around. Otherwise, some people would have to wait like three years to get them.

It's a lot harder to fight NPCs at lower levels; by the time it comes out you'll be a higher level and it'll start getting a little easier.

Rank is not the context I was speaking of. It is related though. At higher levels killing NPCs becomes much easier, so you'll kill a lot more of them and get the Leviathans in a short amount of time, as paulfrick stated. What he said doesn't help lower ranks, but once you're a higher rank just a bit of focus will let you get them easily.
