After chewing threw more than a dozen NPCs and getting 1 asteroid I'm getting pretty discouraged. At this rate I won't be able to get enough to finish even 1 round of the mission to get the plating.

Please tell me I'm missing something and these things are not this insanely hard to find...

What level are you? I know the first time they had an NPC-hunting timed mission I had trouble getting through it, and I wasn't even that low a level.

i get one about every 13 commons i kill. i'll barely be making it thru this one! lol, about time we have a challenge on the weekly.

Nice to see a mission that involves more than just clicking, I'd be even more excited about one that involves teamwork also. This mission reward looks to be one of the better ones.. and should have to be earned... nice to also teach the idea of mass farming npcs to those who don't normally do it too. Good job Dan.

Yeah, it could be tough, especially if you're not used to/built for fighting NPCs. All I can suggest is working on research for fighting them, such as weapons.

im rank 80 and i have gone through about 20 npcs without recieving one.... i dont like the odds of me completeing this one intime.

I am rank 92, and I am on my 7th rock. You need to increase your scanners. And yes, I agree... it is good to have a challenge that is more than just energy dumping clicks.

Thanks for the tip, King. I'll up my scanning. And yes, it is nice to have more than just a point-click mission. Just wish it wasn't so darn frustrating...

Scanners don't affect it, as they have no cloak. They need to kill more NPCs.

An important thing to remember: even if you can't finish it now, the mission will show up as a regular mission later, so don't worry too much; you'll get it eventually.

the end item is awesome tho if you have a bunch of hull size 20 150 hull and 5% to all hull

sounds pretty epic. so the larger you hull the better the effect i guess wonder if i could scam it by using nanodrones first before i install it

I think it multiplies with the effect, so it wouldn't matter. 1.5x1.08x1.08 = 1.08x1.08x1.5; order doesn't matter.

Is this topic about the mission Grid Resistance? If so, Im completely lost on how to come by the Kalvian deposits besides going to battle tab to find the astroids. So far, there are no astroids that show up, only the same npc's. I also still have the Octafari science vessel to take down; does this mean I cant get to the astroids until I finish that?? Lost and confused~

Eventually you'll see them, it's just random.
