simple idea. be able to search up a name in game and leave a message on their comm. there should be a way to communicate with someone even though they haven't attacked you or are not on your friends list.

I don't like the idea that anyone in game can send you a comm full of harassment without even knowing where you are or whom you are.


If you want to get a message to someone in-game use the officer comm channels, or have an officer/leader(if you aren't one) send that message for you.

I think a new message on your com alert would be something useful without changing too much.

you would have to know their name in the first place. so some type of encounter would have to have happened. also people are still going to be douches no matter what system is in place. simple you abuse the privilege it gets taken away.

No different than playing any MMO really.. you can send a message to anyone, and you can block messages from them as well..
