As we all know.....Traders are a major part of the Galaxy! Many of our legions leave an empty slot or two open just to receive traders and commence to buy / sell / and trade with them.....Thus....leaving a portion of legion bonuses in the wind.
Here's my idea.....Soul Chambers!!!!!!
Soul Chambers could be sold during the Halloween(October) event. They could act similar to a Docking Port.
Soul Chamber : allows the legion to hold one (1) more member...(no legion bonuses are given to the participateing legion for having a Soul Chamber member). ( Any player in the Soul Chamber slot can still collect resources and receive alerts as any other legion member would).Limit , 2 per base...
Any thoughts on this idea?
Lets wait and see what the planed Legion Trainees update brings

---------------- Legion Trainees (overview) -----------------
When players join the game, they will be given the option of joining a legion as a trainee during the tutorial. If they accept, they will be placed in a random legion that has at least one free training slot. (If a player wishes to join a *specific* legion that they choose, they can still do so, but they will not be considered a trainee, and will not take up a training slot)
Legions will be notified when trainees join, but they are always auto-approved. Trainees will also be shown in the legion list with a distinct icon.
Leaders will be able to designate that their legion has a set number of training slots (up to 10). More can be unlocked via the Academy base module.
A trainee will *graduate* after reaching rank 50 while in a legion, and become a normal member. This action bestows special points to the legion that can be redeemed for unique modules and upgrades. Trainees can also unlock special options for the legion by performing specific tasks during their training period, such as completing missions.
Other than some restrictions (see below), a trainee has the same options as a normal member and can participate in all legion activities that their rank allows.
Additional details:
* Training slots *replace* existing legion member slots. They can be designated as such even if the legion is full, but will only be filled when space is available.
* Players can *only* join as a trainee if they are under rank 20.
* Players can join as a trainee up to 3 times. (That is, they can choose to leave their current legion and join another random legion up to 3 times). To clarify, a legion does not get the option to choose which trainees join their legion: the game will decide this on the trainees behalf.
* Inactive trainees will be automatically kicked from legions. (They can still be kicked as normal by existing leadership)
* Trainees will only be assigned to legions that have active members, who have an average rank of 50 or higher (not including other trainees).
* Trainees cannot be promoted until they graduate, but they may always re-join as a standard member if they wish (but without trainee status).
* If a trainee leaves a legion for any reason *after* rank 20, they will not be able to graduate, as they will not be able to join another legion as a trainee. A trainee will need to remain with the same legion until they finish their training in order for the legion to receive credit for the graduation.
We are still discussing ways to incentivize legions to keep trainees after graduating (and not immediately kick them), such as providing additional rewards for reaching other rank thresholds.
could be usefull for trainees, unless they already get theire own slots
but we wont know for sure until we actualy get this update

For those of you curious about our progress on the big Training/Tutorial update, we're still in the process of testing, but we anticipate it will be ready soon!
