I could maybe see 1 Gp every 100 ranks, MAYBE, (even then its a ALOT of GP) with how little things cost its likely not ever going to happen.

The reason why this would break the game is because it will cause a rampage of dupes, or new ships, to easily make one really overpowered ship very quickly.

People would also abuse the galaxy points with their dupes to send over large amounts of good planets and be able to reset their dupes to repeat the process until all planets get colonized.

Moreover, Dan would actually lose more money from implementing this because GP is too easy to get now and economically, when their's a surplus of things, prices tend to go down. The excess GP would end up being abused and replenished too easily.

Also, because of this, more people would get banned for not doing anything wrong when there are so many dupes out there taking advantage of the situation to break the game and will destroy the population of active users, a long with the game itself into nothing.

Could make it the 5 year reward.

Grants GP = #weeks played, so 260 GP.

the 5-yr medal is something he does need to consider for sure

I figure anyone that has been playing 5 years has spent a fair chunk, or at least bought stuff that has cost others a fair chunk, figure a free 5 QSE rebate or 4 free RT's would be a nice way of saying thx.
