Interesting, so I PvP for two minutes before I set off a krios trap, then I get to go on a hacking spree for 5 minutes or whatever, and no body can stop me? The number of critical hacks would be minimized by the smallish window of opportunity, but just repeat and continue. Planet cloak to invisibility means nothing when it's stolen from a critical hack. So go for it, I'm game, let's get some chance of finding those rare gems.

Where does he mention the rate of critical hacks would be increased?

Critical hacks have a fixed % chance of occurring, so even if you had 10 million cloak, you still wouldn't crit hack at a higher rate.



Also, in case you missed it, detegrets clearly says, you lose the cloak boost when you hack someone;

If it only lasts for one hack, it's really pretty useless.
