So why exactly can we not search for other players ? theres players i wanna hack but cant find them...

for just the reason you state tbh...its to prevent you going back to the same rich vein and mining every 15 minutes ad infinitum(also called farming)

There should be a limit and be allowed to do it,would prevent players from joining a legion and then ruining it then once they leave you cant do anything about it.

disagree, high rankers will probably attack lower rankers or people just in the 40% limit to get badges, incites bullying, alot of people have some grudges against each other

it is a mechanic of the game that protects you from unscrupulous higher ranked players
and therefore protects lower ranked players from you, in turn.
could all get outta hand very quick if you could target the same guys day after day...might even lead to folk leaving the game altogether, if they're constantly picked on....maybe???

yeah. i know theres a few players i would go after because i personally enjoy seeing theyre pathetic comm posts, and i know theres a few ppl that would go after me because theyre ships are too weak to kill people theyre own rank and ive killed their legion members (or multis. whatever. i have no evidence.)

Simply put - if you could find players, then the 48 hour window of opportunity to be attacked if you attack someone or take their world, would go away. If someone stole your world, you could write their name down, and tell your friends in the legion, and they could write his name down, and basically force him out of the game.

... and that is exactly what would happen.

I would be for a limited version that allowed you to post a Comm on anyone's ship, but not attack, hack, raid, view their ship, etc.
