Can you make the uncommon legion mission npc's more common please as at the moment i have been trying to hunt them down now for 3 days and have only found 5/10 needed to complete where as i have found over 20 Troop Carriers (which are classed as rare)

What legion mission NPC we're talking here?

been hunting them for 3 days now have ya? perhaps the reason you can't find any is because that legion mission has now ended then, as they only last 3 days

This Legion Mission runs for 4 days

In that case, Dan probably just has it in for you.

Sadly this thread suffers from the same issue as a lot of other threads, in that we have no NPC's killed knowledge, so we cannot determine whether you've been insanely lucky with the Troop Carrier spawn, and just unlucky with the LM NPC spawn.

Time doesnt matter, what matters is your number of kills....
I usealy get around 1 TO Carrier pr 3-400 kills or so, that would make your 20 TO carriers around 6 - 8.000 kills or so

is that a lot ?

most legion missions that require you to hunt Down 10 uncommon NPC's take me around 1000 kills to do

but it depends a lot on 3 other Things as well

1. your rank
theire is quite a difrence betwen NPC hunting at rank 100 to 600, rank 600 to 900, rank 900 to 2200 and rank 2200+
due to the fact that you lose quite a few NPC's at both rank 600, 900 and 2200

2. how many mission NPC's you have you can get on scanner

3. when you hunt for them
somethime you can kill NPC for 3 hours straight and never find a single uncommon legion mission NPC, and at other times you can get 3 within 15 min or so..
I dont know why, but the RNG tends to give out NPC's in clusters
so what I normaly do is do a 2K energy test run, if I find interesting NPC on that one, I keep going - but if I get nothing, I stop waith a few hours and try again


so without more data, it's imposible to tell if the NPC is actualy to rare or if you are trying to do a Task that wasn't meant for the rank you have now

sounds like my normal numbers, 900 kills on a good day, 1200 if I hit a bad time where the RNG just wont spawn them

but, I also remember how hard it was at rank 3-400'ish to find the 4 Fornyis ships you need for the Finding the Fornyis Twins mission
as I remember it it ended up costing me 2-3.000 kills spread out over 4 to 5 days to find those 4 ships
simply becourse I didn't wait until I had hit rank 600+, where my chance to get them would have been mutch higher

and same with the Litheor Deepspike,
before rank 600 it can easily take 50 kills to find just one
after rank 600, your chance will be around 1 in 10, so at this rank they truely become a pest you just want to get rid off, as they will be blocking your scanner until you finish the mission


so if MickeyMagic have a rank 500'ish ship + a lot of mission NPC he can get on scanner, I wouldnt be supriced if 6000 kills only got him 5 Cobalt Speeders
