Yinz all seem to be forgetting Option #3... Trash your Hyperforges, put a few Topopopopopoliis, astroward, and defense on it, alert for guards, then use a Vortex. You know, the stuff you would do if you don't have a flux in the first place? Maybe throw in a Rift Trap, if you have one (especially if the attack is in the last 12 hours on the mission timer).

Personally, I love the idea of having some actual repercussions as a result of your choice. Much, much better than "New Legion Mission? Clickclickclick. Cool, done, moving on."
