Personally, I really think he sees himself as a, um, I don't know, a messiah or savior of some sort. I love that he asks why you don't want to join and you tell him you're happy where you are and he calls you "stupid" for it. I've always told him his bedside manner needs a little bit of work. And by a little, I mean a complete overhaul.
