If you set to auto approve members, when someone joins and you dont want them there even if they are booted out they can continue to rejoin ?

This is a major problem for any legion that set it that way.

Don't set it to auto then?

automatic entry to everyone, except the people they don't like.

And it would take a while but if you have no nulls or trap probes, any legion set to auto approve members you can join,see if member is online and what traps they have and if they have no krio trap then leave legion and kill them.

How so? The legions that will accept anyone set it to auto, the legions that want to review applications don't, seems like it fits the purpose quite well.

but there are legions out there that are desperate for members, and will have it set to auto, so that they dont miss out on gaining a new member, as soullord (space) already stated, he went to our ENEMIES legion, and basically walked right in.
whilst there, he could have quickly tapped every alerted planet, and taken any FFA planets.
were just pointing out that there is a LOT of room for abuse here.

I only consider something as abusive if the initiator is the abuser.
That said, in the name of further idiot-proofing the game, a change so that rejects cannot reapply to same legion for x amount of time could be added as it won't hurt.

i think the planet theft issue is a rather large one. if your not that concerned about loyalty, you could just go legion hopping and reporting back to everyone back in the legion whos wanting to do planet thefts.

Point is... it's obviously abuse and abusing any aspect of the game is, according to the ToS, a bannable offense. Just use common sense, if you're trying to start drama you will find it. This isn't rocket science, it's like Ruby compared to C#.

that doesnt mean people WONT abuse it... there are still BLATANT multis out there, and they arent rare, try browsing the first 10 pages of legions... tell me how many you find.
i know whenever i go searching to fill the legion, i generally report 3-5 LEGIONS of multis, usually about 3-5 per legion.
plenty of glitched planets still floating around.
etc etc. theres no shortage of people willing to cheat or break the TOS.

I'd like to say that Ryoko will apologize if he oversteps if you keep your composure around him.

And a simple report to Dan will result eventually in either a slight modification to prevent such an event or a flat out ban of the abuser I'm sure.

The easiest way to get a system changed to have fail checks is to show exactly how a person has abused it and let Dan sort it from there.

Alternatively. Implementing a new system to the treaty system that allows you to designate an enemy legion could prevent anyone that had been in that Legion for XX amount of days from auto-joining your Legion... that would solve a lot of issues right there.

I'll admit this, and myself, is getting out of hand, so I'll sha'ddup.
