 Please make Halcyon and QFT traps 'buy with galaxy points'

Please change them to NOT be acquired by artifact draws or make them gp point purchases.

OR make them so they only work to prevent you from hitting 'that' player.

The new badge system doesn't warrant them in their current form especially since we have limited actions per day on targets anyway.

I actually like the idea of getting rid of halcyon traps. That would make solo pvping more viable.

no way. i hit 13 halcs and 4 firewalls today, but im glad theyre there. not everyone pays for this game, and halcs would give a HUGE advantage to paid players over non paid players. i think we should keep it the way it is.

I know other people have mentioned possibly adding an artifact to "disarm" or trigger enemy traps. I think making these sort of artifacts available would be a good balancing move. They would have to either be rarer than the traps or not a 100% guarantee of disarming the trap. Might be something like decoy flares or an encrypted hacking code. I do think something should change, but I do not know that scrapping the traps is the best idea.

The problem is that traps are insta-cast. If you see your health dropping fast, just trap up and screw the other player for 1 hour.

When a couple from my legion attacked another guy (dont recall why, retaliation, invasion of planet, somethg like that) he kept tossingon halyc and krios, was rather fun still, i dont recall who it was, but he kept tossing on traps ;P i dont know if we managed to disable him for all those traps. :D

That was before Dan added the badges that require 160 'kills' for the modules.

Bubba you can have it as GP points. To me those traps are a deterrent to keep you from attacking me when I'm away from the computer. If Dan does this then he must figure a way to remove you from the battle-tabs when you are not on.
