Christian needs to "pray" that I don't take apart his ship if I see him on the battle tab. Bottom line is Imminent Cataclysm used to be known as Legend of Infinity Rising - our sister alliance. We made sacrifices from our normal base hitting pattern to join their battle group. As a result, we sacrificed numerous silver badges from base rewards in order to help them become stronger. Unfortunately, they took that assistance for granted. Members of the defunct empire X got in their ear, spoked badly about us, they merged alliances, and they broke away as our sister alliance.

So in a nutshell, we helped these people, and they spat in our face and took advantage of it in the end.

Now they cry that we have strong player like Mento. Here are my counterarguments:

1. Well news flash IC, Rex, Hall, Gol, and myself normally put a lot of effort into bases. There have been numerous bases we have taken down with Mento offline

2. Every top alliance is going to have a select member or two with insane ships - DEAL with it. Just because Scumby is your top guy and his ship would basically be upper middle of the pack in our alliance, doesn't mean you need to cry about it.

Now that I am done laying the smacketh down on you in this forum, it will be laid on you in the game. I forgot to mention that these ingrates decided it was ok to just start taking our planets as soon as we broke away from them. I have decreed that I will light up any Imminent Cataclysm ship I see on the battle tab - DEAL WITH that too!


Since this is a thread on recruitment, I just want to say that this is a great alliance. We have great leadership here and a good mix of PVP and NPC players. We routinely of a number of NPCs up across all ranks. I, for one, have appreciated the friendship and welcoming nature of many of these guys. It's fantastic - there is no other way to put it.

Sure it was, our qualities of constantly having to come to your diplomatic aid because you guys have the diplomacy skills of North Korea, and made the Infinity standard look like a bunch of dicks (thereby constantly breaking the one and only rule of Infinity, I might add).

In fact, I remember once that Zypherius, the former leader of Ni, was actually allowed into the Infinity Leadership forum in order to ask for a diplomatic resolution to a scuffle between you guys and them, an offer that none of you took up and made Infinity look like tools. When an offer, an entirely reasonable offer, was fleshed out (aided in part by NOT ONE of you guys), it was shot down by you guys because your childish egos were more important than the Infinity brand.

Truth be told, our leadership and officers were actually quite worn down by the constant childishness of LEoI's leader and officership, but the fact that we still wanted you a part of Infinity, pretty much speaks volumes about the pettiness of LEoI's leadership. Truth be told, I would be surprised if even one of you, save Samo01, actually cared more about the Infinity brand than themselves, which is basically the reason you guys split up anyway.

We were fighting for Infinity, you guys were fighting for yourselves.

Cared about ourselves? HA! You guys shirked the duties of taking care of the 4 other legions wearing your tag onto us a long time ago, wonder why 180+ people decided to leave Infinity?
