after invading a planet this morning, I defended the planet and went on an npc run. after I returned to change a few artifacts that I'd forgotten to do after the invasion, I saw that my attack value on the planet was my total buffed NPC attack.

I've tested this, and attacking a target that doesn't receive the npc attack bonus will restore the planet value to it's correct level.

When you get hit by the Swarm, it specifically says "NPC Attack." So your attack vs planets or PvP are not affected. You only suffer the -99% when you attack an NPC.

tap a planet/player, your attack will reset back to the stated value, as opposed to the "Attack" value at the top of the npc battle result.

No probs, think the problem is that we don't have a dedicated npc attack stat so when you encountered the debuff (or in my case the standard npc attack increase) it blanket updated everything that was dependant on attack stat (npc attack and guard attack stats).
