Im wondering how to best max a planet before i Rift it

enough terraformers to make it a 15x artifact planet. Then 5 enumeration crystals or trellith resequences to turn the planet into a 20X artifact planet. 2nd to last use a planet artifact that boost it up to 22x. i.e. if you are going to use a gaia seed, pick a crappy small terra. An islyitc irradiator, pick a small toxic. For a planetary sentiox, you need a barren, and for a gamma crystallizer you need a desert. Last use the use your subspace fissuron.

all that sounds about right.
i dont recommend rifting anything thats not an artifact based planet though.

If you want pure arti I would suggest crystaling or gaia and putting your adaptive spires on. It may only be 2 more production but its 2 more production for life.

NO! Always pick the biggest size possible, if your looking for a completely maxed out planet then you will need to use Quasis to get the planet to Very Massive before using them, the higher the starting size, the less your going to have to end up paying.

The subspace fissuron makes any planet size Mega Col... so It doesn't matter in size. As long as the planet is 22x artifact.

The OP is asking about rifting you derp. Size doesn't matter at all for this topic.

Ask your legionmates if they have a dessert, barren, terra, or toxic with large moons or rings on scan.
I didn't have to look that hard to find a barren with rings on it.
