I've recently began to slow rank as to start researching better equipment. Just need some ideas on where to head towards. I Kill NPC more often than PvP, so in that regard any tips towards squishing NPC's will be of great help

Current ship stats:
Zolazin Saboteur,

Size Class: Leviathan
Space: 1492 / 1503
Attack: 2727
Defense: 2300
Scan: 1136
Cloak: 756
Cargo: 2708 / 2900

Researched Modules:

Thetacron Radiation 1/3
Supernova Generation 1/4
Force Obviation Barrier 1/3
Cloaking Fields 3/3
Syncopated Phase Matter 2/3
Exergonic Inversion 1/3
Continuum Analysis 3/3
Stellar Engineering 3/3
Dimensional Logistics 1/3

Production ( kinda sucks tbh )

Minerals 1364 units / hour

Artifacts 860 points / hour

Research 2792 Points/ hour

Ship:

Rank 310

1815 Energy (25 per hour )
5948/ 5948 Hull
1695 / 1695 Shield

He's right... but work on the production and all else will follow. As a rank 377 I have 5x your mining and research, and more than 15x your artifact.

ya you need to work on your arti's for a long while here. While doing so keep killing NPC's. I would try and up your attack, hull, and energy while you are doing so. The more NPC's you kill the more arti's you should get to help grow the planets you all ready have. Also try and take better planets and/or get better buildings to put on them with research. Also if you are a GPer then I would switch races to Drannik Fixer. That should help you kill more NPC's much faster as well.

You either have a ton of open planet slots or have taken crap planets and are defending said crap.

Not even averaging 70 points per planet if you are full.
That saying no scientists.

i have a few open slots, maybe 3 or 4. Almost ALL my planets are V Large or better and Rich and higher ( i do have 2, 15X mega rich in my collection that i own both of which are Mining planets. I do own a Very tiny sparse research which i am keeping for my Hyper-terraformer. as for the rest of my planets around a 1/3 are up to date with the best Res production buildings i can buy, while the others are currently being upgraded, but due to funds i can only do a planet every few days, rather than every day.

this gives me an idea on where to head towards, thanks for your input. I do buy GP now and then so this is a possibility for me to switch to drannik at a later date.

Any planet you own not making 150 points or more should be completely un defended

this is a good point, i have some in the 100-125 range and a few in the high 300's, though nearly all my planets have some sort of defence so that does hamper them some what, even with no defenses the others i have that are Large and Rich only just pass 90 Production/h since i can only fit 3 buildings on them. I'm only as high as Stellar Engineering for planet Buildings. those that do have defense only give around 60-70 Prod/h.

@KJ: 150/hr is assuming +12s. For +10, the equivalent figure is 130/hr.

A--Average? The average at 300 is about 5k attack/5k defence.

i can get my attack up to ~3800 however the upkeep cost is killing me so i have had to drop the Theta guns for the time being down to Heavy Anti-Proton to deal with the upkeep problem. Even with a good 2/3 rds of my planets being Mining, I'm not bringing in Enough Resources to maintain a decent income, so I dropped the thetas for Anti-proton. i have managed to get my hull up to ~6400 since starting this thread. and have also managed to increase Mining to 1836/h and arti to 986/h and research to 2845/h. Am still improving old planet production buildings and my credits are starting to increase only incrementally but they are going up.

Hopefully by the end of the week, i'll post up my new ship/planet stats with better results than that was posted prior.

Ya I remember that phase. Back when upkeep was killing me. I don't know how many days I missed my upkeep. The prob back then was there where no 15X and 16X mining worlds since there was no toxic ships out there. We had to do it the hard way. This phase only lasts so long then you get your mining under wraps and your good again. Also if you have some arti's to sell that helps a lot as well. CTP is going for a ton right now. With just 100 you can get Billions. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tip
I was going to put it towards my base but my credits are at an all time low right now. Could really use those funds right now and it will help me in the long run as I can upgrade my planet productions to maintain an healthier income :)

He's hit his phase prematurely by having the mining production of a rank 100... and most productions, really.

Start investing in TOs, and bring your artifact up. Once your artifact is around 8k bring your mining up, so that you can actually afford to have the modules you already researched online. Don't worry about raising your research for a while, as research is finite, and you'll not actually get any long-term benefit from bringing it up at the moment.

Remove the defenses from all of your planets producing less than 150/hr (and look at abandoning anything that still produces less than 130). Do the mining upgrades first (it makes the next ones much easier) and then your productions will start to look up.

yes, average. nearly ALL people on my BT are like Ecco.

only a select few are 5k/5k at our rank. I used to say, ouch everyone is way underpowered. now I simply say. yeah that's average.

ok after 1 week of upgrading and changing a few aspects of some planets etc, my outputs now ( after around 14B Spent on upgrades) are as follows:

Before

Minerals 1364 units / hour

Artifacts 860 points / hour

Research 2792 Points/ hour

After

Minerals 2066 units / hour

Artefacts 1359 units / hour

Research 3428 units / hour

its probably still low for my level, but its a good improvement over what i had originally, and i still have 30+ planets to go over and possibly upgrade, but I need to save up for that, am almost broke now, lol
