 Possible second use for time manipulators

People keep wanting ways to get more energy, and while I like these artifacts (And the paradox generators they got me) a possible second use for them could be that if none of the affected timers (Hack, Raid, Repair, and transport) are currently affecting the ship, the time manipulation gives the ship 5 energy having put the generators in an altered time stream or something.

5 energy is not a lot, but these artifacts are pretty cheap and a lot of times I have been just one more attack away or just wanted to scan a few more times before I ditch my scanners.

Curious of what other people think.

if you're going to have them give more energy then it needs to give more than five energy because that really won't accomplish anyone, anything.

i disagree. 5 energy can give just enough energy to invade a planet or something. at most they should give 15, but i like the 5 energy thing.
