I suggest a free way to post "I attacked/hacked you because of a legion member's alert" Here is an example of how I think it should work, labling names by player #1, player #2, and LEGION (for a fake legion name):
If player #1 is reported in a legion share by player #2, than offensive actions against player #1 by LEGION (by player #2's report) should automatically post "LEGION attack/hack/raid alert from player #2" on Player #1's comm.

Although you may have your own reasons, here are a few I benifits I could think of:
Player #2 is properly told that it is because of an alert
Player #2 is told who alerted them
LEGION's members don't have to waste energy by posting it

I know this is a shameless bump of an old topic of mine, but I wanted feedback and this still pertains today.

I like the idea of not having to waste 5 energy telling somebody why he just got schooled by 5-10 people from the same legion. Especially when that person should be able to figure out who's beer he pissed in without any comm messages.

Truthfullly, sometimes I don't remember who all I have disabled etc. so if someone wants to alert me and post on my comm, I would find it immensely helpful since you don't have anything on your feed to tell you who you disabled.

I have always found it in good taste to tell the alerted that I hit them for that reason.

This kind of presupposes that a legion has rules about notifications, everyone in the legion actually follows them and, most importantly, that anyone actually cares or wouldn't be able to figure it out.
