GL over slow links

 when I was away in Aug and Sept, GL was a major pain in the backside to use. I had slower links than my home internet when I had access while traveling.
planet tab especially bad as kept getting script errors. I was away 5 out of 6 weeks and for the most of that time I couldn't use my ability to enrich a planet. was so annoying that I just claimed resources and donated energy to my legion's base |

lag & waiting a bit longer is one thing
scripting errors resulting preventing aspects of the game from working is another matter and that was what I was reporting.... |

I can relate to his problems as well. When i use the IE, then visit the planet tab, i get a script error, game freezes and i have to refresh page. Lucky i don't use IE anymore.
Sometimes when i open GL, Shockwave plugin crashes, but GL works fine despite that. |

If you are still using IE 7 or IE 8, please update to IE9.
