It's the way of the game. You do something against someone, you get stomped. Visciously. They did that, you lost it, you said some extremely nasty things. I'm nearly 25 years old and I was appalled.

Take your beatings with dignity, and you'll be treated with respect. However, you've lost respect because of how nasty you were. Learn from it and move on, I'm sure someone else will do something else equally as bad and this will be all forgotten in a week. If you let it, of course.

Aiyah is that really how this game is played? Players over twice the level of another gang up on them and disable them over measly planets or getting warped? I really thought there was a bit more respect and proportionality expected of players. I've never experienced any players behaving like that before Akoya.

Haha! Yes, it's how it's played. I assist in planet thefts (as I'm a zolazin saboteur) and I'm level 290. I get stomped by level 1100+'s just for helping someone out with taking over a planet. That's over three TIMES my level, and I don't complain. That's how it is. I actually get surprised if I DON'T get stomped every which way.

I don't understand. This had nothing to do with your legion getting the planet back. I didn't ever try to stop that. And Akoya didn't get a badge from me. Other than that, yes I get it. No hard feelings.

I'm siding with DrDoom here, he's lvl 96, fairly new to game compared to everyone, he has no idea about TU's pvp policies or any stuff about getting zeroed over a planet that's worth dog feces.
Do we seriously need to ostensibly appear like tough guys saying :
"Happens. Get used to it man."
"yeah, rank 90s vs rank 200s, yeah big deal, cry a river"

Surely, everyone can see where his frustration came from, offer him some slack...

You can see Coalition immediately comin' calling him an idiot and hammering him etc, he tried to be respectful but coalition just kept being jackwagons.

Reading from this, he seems pretty composed, it could've been alot worse you know? - yelling and screaming etc seen rank 400s that would lose their minds over if exactly the same thing happened to them
I'm sure he had a need to defend himself since The Coalition had only revealed half the story, it'd be unfair to have the galaxy chase him around without seeing his side.

For the most part, Common has it nailed right here. Yes, a low rank may not completely "get it" so to speak. TU isn't involved, I just mentioned our legion policy toward Pinball, which is shared by I am sure some other legions. Doom's basic reaction is understandable for a less experienced player. The one comm message he sent, no matter how frustrated he felt at the time, is inexcusable.

The Coalition? Maybe they could be a little more diplomatic with their own keyboards, but I've seen a lot worse. Could they be a little less "asshatty" ? Maybe. No reason to go chasing after them though.

Once again, this is basically a situation of misunderstanding, impatience, and one-sided-story-ness.
