So this happened to me and I thought I was crazy. Then it happened again and I thought I accidentally solo'd an elite.
But then Kirk mentioned it as well.



Basically, one person gets double rewards.

Guessing lag is the issue again but it is weird that Kirk and myself brought it up this week and it keeps happening.
Anyone else encounter this before?

Actually you do get 2 rewards. I have tested this with a stacked cargo, and after hitting a Rethion, had the same appear as Tree has shown in the OP.

My Red Box Reward showed a lazuli darkmine, and when i hovered over the "disable reward" it only showed my name, with a Lazuli Microfuser as the reward.

lo and behold i check my cargo, and i have both of the rewards.

im not sure i have ever noticed getting double rewards without it popping up multiple red boxes alerting it
but then again i never check how many rewards i get.. i just stack

And thanks to Sahil, he has confirmed you don't even need to be top 3 reward spots for this to happen.

He got a reward and was not on top 3 for a queen.

Maybe it isn't a glitch but instead a new feature. Perhaps when you disable the things you get the second drop? I am gonna say it is probably a glitch though

If I recall, this generally happened when two people disabled the Elite/Boss at the same time (similar to a multidisable or the multibadges from bases)? (Seems to be corroborated by the fact that you "disabled" the Queen, but according to the reward box Fireblade disabled the Queen.)

This is different from double killing an elite, which happens fairly often.
