Gotta disagree on the thetas. Unless 12s really boost his mining id wait. They would more than double his upkeep, and he doesn't need to be taking mining for awhile other than vl toxics if he has purifiers.

After platings I'd say work on either scanners or getting 120 e per hour

At that rank, he should be able to easily afford double his current upkeep. Keep in mind also that he is approaching Flamehawks. He will need the extra attack. More scan at this stage is only going to clutter his planet list with more crap planets that he can't purge because of low-ish APH or planets that are going to have too much defense for null rays. I stand by my advice.

Syncopated and thetas puts him at about 3.5b for upkeep, and pulling in maybe 4b a day.

That's selling everything he gets and never capping. So hes gonna get enough for 2-3 repairs a day and save nothing for planets. Wouldn't be too worked about flamehawks...

If you do this though id say buy/steal some toxics.

I lose mining capping, meaning I only make around 3B, so Thetas and Synco would be rough.

As for race chains, I have Genetarr and Zolazin unlocked. I've done the first Lazuli mission and the first Drannik mission.

I'm more combat focused than mission focused, though I do both PvP and NPC.

I haven't taken a mining or research planet in ages. My artifact production was never any good, so I've been dragging it up slowly. I think I only have 1 planet slot right now, and I like to keep one incase I crithack something really nice or something similar.

Thetas are nice. Expensive, but nice. You should be able to afford those or syncos. Not both. +12s are also great to have, and the sooner you do them the easier they are to install. It wouldn't hurt you to get your energy up to autorank at will, even if you choose not to, as your ship is fairly strong for your rank, although there are certainly better. The last Dominion, T-Phase Utricle, and Sha'din Forcevoiders should also be of top priority, for a total defence boost of around 900 after veloxes.

Taltherian or Drannik would make a race choice, although if you PvP Konqul may be better than Drannik. I'd also drop Fixer for Excavator to bring your artifact production to 7.3k.

Get your arti up, mine is around 8.5k and rising and I'm not that much higher than you.

More artifact (I too have 8k). Thetacrons, +12's, all that has already been said. Try log in twice, about 8 hours apart to make double on your mining.

Don't expect Heavy Thetas with that low of a mining (no offence Thunder). +12s would benefit you in a long run. Artifact is key, there can never be a lot and I'm sure you know that. Plus Installing Heavy Thetas could cost him 50b+ and that would really cripple him and his needs. EDIT: Having Heavy Thetas wouldn't be a good choice atm.

+1. my friend has about the same mining as TB and he has the heavy thetas(of course more mining would be good). other then that SKAL's advice sounds about right.
EDIT: The Thetas are expensive as previously stated so if your going to attempt to get those try to do some trades, perhaps sell some ACFs as they are going for a lot atm.

I'm not trying to be mean or anything varun, but i seen you on every thread repeating what everyone says and even though it isn't necessary right.
And what lv are you seeing by date of when you joined this forum, it will be higher then mine but not very high.
If you are much lower rank then TB, your advice isinsufficient

ill be honest I didnt read most of this thread, however heres my advice ( order of how i would do it )
1. reserach 1 lvl of Obi's -> if you already have that research to +12s -> at the same time get your last DOM 3, and work on upgrades if you want them + your other 2 proteans
2. research Synco's

Personal Recommendations - differs with playstyle :
uninstall your power cores, replace them with scan / claok mods.
Put Dimensinal log on hold unless you are REALLY pushing for that next base upgrade, though I would hold off considering your mining / hr, and what you will need for upkeep.

Most of my RP has actually been going to the CT lab. I started Dim Logs whilst I was at WDE, and have just been completing it as something to do. Plus, it's always good to have that done as a just in case kind of thing.

I do not have sufficient engineers to remove my energy cores.

I have level 1 Obviators. +12s seem to be the way to go... although I'm reluctant to stop trying the CT Lab for my last Velox.

I feel for you on the CTL for velox thing I ended up getting mine from another legion whie I was still at SGU. Important thing to remember is this : your planets are your only real source of anything in this game, you have to take care of those first.
