this is how you do colorful language

Yes! We are cool and stuff. Join up for mutual assistance. Your ship is damaged? We'll fix it? Need help killing NPCs? No problem! Some guy whuping you unfairly? We'll show him who's boss. Need some artifacts? We'll give you some. Low level players or high level players are acceptable. If you're low and need help, pm Kevin or me, and we'll help you out.

Make that 4 levels.

News Flash, 4 levels in a week isn't all that spectactular. Expecially when you are still under 100. When I was in the low 120's I ended up about 75 xp short of leveling 4 times in 8 hours. Granted I had Ecubes and Trimats saved up, but still, 4 in a week isn't brag-worthy...

That's nice but some of us are not lucky enough to have a load of e-cubes or tri-mats. The point I am making is this legion offers a safe harbor to learn and to grow in.

The point I'm trying to make is that 3 or 4 level-ups in a week is not a very good selling point if you're trying to recruit members. When players are under about 100, 3-4 levels a week is pretty average. Guy in my legion went from 11 to 30 in a shade over 2 weeks with NO energy artifacts.

If you want people to join your legion, stick with offering things that they can't do on their own. Planet/artifact sharing, mutual defense, legion bonus for planets, that kind of thing. When Joe Shmoe level 20 sees you saying "I leveled 4 times this week with these guys helping me" and realizes he did it too without a legion, he's not gonna watch the rest of your info-mercial.

Not to be a #*&$ or anything but I'm in the 70's now and I rank almost once a day so...yeah 4 times in a week isn't all that good.

If I was only looking to level I could have made 8 this week but I fought several npc that don't give a lot of xp. today our legion took out 2 rare elites with in hours. Right now I am concentrating on energy production, research, and protecting my legion mates.

(Why do all these members of other legions keep dissing this legion? All but skopien and Mr. Brains are in legions much stronger than ours. Do they see what I see, a legion capable of growing into a major power one day? Why else would they even care what a little old starter legion like ours is doing?)

I real don't mind because ever time they comment it put this.thread back on the top.

I find that rewards attract the wrong kind of people. If you don't want to join The Lords Of Time for our team work and.legion bonuses I don't know if I want you. We place a premium.on quality players.

This is the kind of stuff you need to focus on for your recruiting. That's what attracts a lot of the "team players" to a particular legion. I never intended to put down you or your legion, I was only citing what many could consider an error in your recruitment tactics. And I agree with your reluctance to offer a signing bonus. We tried that in our legion and got a few temporary mercenaries, but no long term commitments.

Well yesterday, with our good member cooperation, we completely obliterated an Akkiren Drannik Hub, and a Svax Stryll Punisher in rapid succesion. Anybody who wants NPC sharing should join.

The fact is we do all those things mentioned. we should think more about advertising these things better.

I am wondering why so many people insist on jacking this poor guy's thread? It seems wrong to belittle him for making multi recruitment posts for his legion when each time he tries to create a basic one, people write junk all over it. Have a little courtesy folks. Instead of impressing others with how fast you can rank up, maybe work on impressing them with your respectfulness.
