I know I'm not the only one who's had issues with this particular ship:



I run into it every few days and am really curious now. Is this a developer's ship?

It's absolutely impossible to disable - I wasted a ton of energy trying - and the damage is - -88, rather than -88. I've also done 0 damage to the ship before.

Also, I can't seem to find the contact app button. Currently using Chrome (perhaps that's why?)

they moved the contact app stuff over to the far right bottom corner

why did you scratch out the ships name?

kinda makes this pointless

I dunno if I'm looking in the wrong place or something, but all I see is a blank white space below the app, all the way to the bottom of the page. There's also just white to the left and right of the app.

As for scratching out the ship's name... it feels invasive to post a shot of someone else's ship with his/her name, especially if s/he is unaware of the issue.

they spent a crap ton of money on durtanium brackets and xcharge cells maybe?

Infinite x-charge cells are a possibility, yeah, but they don't explain the either "--88" damage or the "-0" damage, with no other damage value in between (which is what I'm really curious about). Never got down to the hull so idk about durtanium brackets

They did the XTS-9 mission a ton and lost all their crew; they have negative defense which ends up making you cause negative damage.

I know it sounds crazy...just crazy enough to be true....

I have seen that ship too... many comm messages said they have reported them for cheating... believe the name is something odd like fasde or something like that.. been a week or so since I saw him last. I wondered if it was a bug with the xts-9 mission and the loss of cre members, so having a neg crew causing the math to come out odd like that. the spy probes I used on him showed 0 def and 5 attack.

I seen other people complaining about this ship maybe hes made a hack so he can't die has he had any deaths?

The XTS-9 theory seems the most valid. If this ship has been cheating then it would have been banned by now.

No that only takes off attack not defense

It takes off crew so it's completely plausible that he has negative defense as his helmsmen are now undead.

The thing is, what's he been doing with all of that XTS-9? Seems like a good candidate to investigate as a multi.

EDIT: Ship has had 75 deaths so far

Warp Gate Repair and trading maybe? You'd be surprised how much XTS-9 goes for on the GTC

Hah, not as surprised as you'd think; I bought the last bit I needed for the XTS-10 Injectors, cost me a good bit.
