I've yet to see any easy facebook credit offers.

theres a few credit card orders that give a lot just for applying for a credit card, you dont even have to spend any cahs, just be approved and you get like 500-1000 creds. and then theres the smaller iphoneapp ones where you get 4-8 just to download a free app to your phone

Those "free" credits never did work out for me. I got about 20 of them before they all stopped working.

It took me about 179K NPC kills to get 10 QSEs, for reference.

Money helps to support a great game. I am cool with it. I am not a big time spender, but I did get my FATHERs, Trinity Cores, etc. The facebook offers help a ton; especially if you are going to buy family gifts anyway. I have done a bunch of them, but a few quick examples come to mind.

1. The personalized M&Ms. These were a huge hit with my wife. They don't cost that much more than you would pay in a store. You are really paying for the shipping and handling.

2. Any of the flower deals (FTD, Pro-Flowers, etc). Again, I found them to be the same price as any other time I would use those services. So, I send mom her goodies on Mother's Day and get game points for it too. Works for me. I also went old school player and bought my wife flowers on MY BIRTHDAY. I told her she was the best gift I ever got; cause I am a pimp like that.

3. The "rebuilt" ink cartridges worked better than I expected. I would recommend that deal.

Lastly, having been a victim of identity theft (no lie), I say away from credit card offers. Though I will admit, that freaking Discover card tempts me every single time I go to that page. bahahaha.

It is indeed worth it, if you have either a healthy income from your job, or very rich parents. If not, then I would advise you spend your money on a game that actually has graphics, action, etc. (World of Warcraft, Wizard 101, Rift, or something else along those lines.)
