1. Accumulate hundreds of time manipulators 2. Switch to Zolazin Hacker 3. Use a dark pyramid to increase cloak by 50 and a stealth optimizer to increase cloak by 15% 4. Visit the service terminal and activate a stealth phase balance to increase cloak by 15% 5. Use a Sha'din algorithm to increase hacking ability by 25% 6. Go on a hacking spree until you can't use anymore tm's
With a 40% cloak bonus as Zolazin and two 15% bonuses, your total cloak bonus would be 85.2%. With three cipherbots, hacker profession, and an algorithm, your total hacking bonus would be 99.1%.

Crit fails are few and far between if you have good hacking abilities, which with a 99% boost, you would. The original poster is of a rank where he likely has many null fuses to get rid of the QFT, which in my honest opinion, is kind of a #*&$ move to use anyways, as it doesn't protect you - just annoy the hacker and protect everyone else. Congratulations.

Congratulations. Crit fails, as well as crit success hacks have nothing to do with your actual hacking abilities(cloak or the +% hacking artifacts/modules), they have a fixed percentage chance of occuring. All those percentage boost modules do is increase your chances of your hack not being blocked and reversed, and effect the amount of research you can hack.

Ive not played a hacker yet but with 3 cipher bots on i find the best you can take in terms of RP is roughly 5% of what they have in storage. If you want really high cloak play a zolazin spy.

It's not that hard to hack people. For a while I ran with around 300 scan and even less cloak and I could hack almost anyone without any buffs.

Congratulations. QFT set the attackers cloak to zero an if someone is counter hacking at that time.. easy hack.

from a global view, QFT also decrease the amount of hackers "in the universe", and thus if everyone uses them, everyone is safer. it's a matter of mutural benefit as opposed to direct personal protection.

QFTs can simply be viewed as a reasonable way of imposing a small cost on the act of hacking... you expect a certain % chance that the guy you're about to hack is protected. If you want to be able to keep hacking, you'd best have a good supply of null fuses. It becomes a natural limiting factor in the system that doesn't care how much you've built your scan numbers up... you want the badges, be prepared to pay for them either in time and vulnerability or in stockpiled artifacts.

I'm not a scientist, so let me make sure I caught the gist of your post: increase your cloak and hacking by all means available, and then hack as many people as you can? And that will get you a lot of Blues? I'm no strategist, but I'll take your word that what you have here is a genius strategy. Hopefully not too many people see this and start hacking away!

dont forget that scan also plays a role in hacking as well, the higher your scan the more you can potentially take, and the less chance that they can counter hack you
