Yes, all day it's been very bad! Lots of problems getting artifacts to work (and not time out), same with opening shared NPCs and getting planets to open.

Mine too. It has also completely froze up. Sometimes I get a message on the planets page.

are you guys on macs? cause i ALWAYS get that when i use firefox on a mac.

The planet list gets slower and slower the more planets you have scanned. The script prompt started for me in IE7 in WinXP and IE8 in Vista around 300 planets on core2duo machines. Win7 in IE8 and IE9 seems to be more lenient as I haven't seen it up to 500 planets yet. I haven't seen it on Firefox yet on any of the above or androids browser but that's probably cause as far as I know only IE actually uses a timer - the other browsers count instructions to see if a program is taking too long.

I'm on windows. It doesn't matter if it's XP or Vista.
I use all four major browsers but I do find for this game that Google's chrome is the best.
So my two cents is if your using windows use chrome to access this game.
For other Facebook connected games I use Opera (most especially seen in Space Empires which I do NOT recommend) which seems to be the fastest.
I use to play farmville but it's so damn large none of the four browsers run it fast enough so I just quit.
While this is my favorite game I will quit if the speed continues to degrade.
I wonder if Dan is using Amazon's cloud server and due to the Christmas shopping season Amazon doesn't have the overcapacity to share like it does during the rest of the year.
Again this morning the lag was just annoying.

Now this is funny! Farmville, the most famous of all facebook games, is getting slower because it is so big!

I thought it was just me but it looks like that's not the case. Yes GL is lagging a lot. Also the forums and wiki which I suspect are on the same server(s) are down quite a lot. Maybe move the cable out of the people's way... Just saying.
