 Why do I keep failing raids?

Hey! This is my first post. Every time I disable some poor ship, I try to raid and ALWAYS fail. I'm rank 110, BTW.

How much crew do you have?

If you have a very high crew count then you should successfully perform a raid.

If your opponent's crew count can match yours then you'll fail.

crew is the key to success. add tac officers or engineers with your rank points / rescued prisoners and it will start to come around. scientists are supposed to work to but i had more luck adding tacs than i did adding scientists.

What affect the raid succes percentage is : Number of crew and the protean armory (max 3 and 7% bonus to raiding each).

So he is probably an engineer mad wich grant him a lot of crew and less chance for you to succed your raid .

I have 138 Engineers, 87 Tactical Officers,128 Helmsmen, and 108 Scientists. The reason why I don't have much Tactical Officers is because I have 819 Attack, but only 604 defense...

so your total crew is 461 at rank 110.

i'm rank 79 with a current crew of 685. i have 469 successful raids.

so, you may want to slow down on the ranking for a bit and try for a few more android helmsmen / android scientists / rescued prisoners from your arti pulls.

I have 886 crew
239 Engineers
177 Tactical Officers
194 Helmsmen
276 Scientists
At rank 148 and thats bassically double so try this strategy +3 decks if not a small ship build 1 engineer and 1 tactical officers scientists and helmsman come throught artifact points that will help you succeed a raid and have a better chance

Hey, don't worry dude. It happens to the best of us. I fail my raids all the time. Some people my rank have more TOs or Engineers than I have crew.

Honestly, we all fail raids, so I wouldn't worry about it, and would keep adding Decks at your Rank, but no matter what you decide I highly recommend that you do not add Helmsmen nor Scientists.

There are android artifacts that will adequately cover both those areas in large quantities once you get your hourly Artifact Points high enough, so if you feel like you must add Crew, then stick to adding either Tactical Officers or Engineers with your Rank Points.

If you want lots of crew fast, first get 7 abundant of better research planes, then do the Kronn unlock chain, the second to last mission will give you 300 crew.

i'm currently on that mission "The Kronyn Exodus" you only need 5 abundant or better gas research planets for the double bonus, 30 scientists per Kronyn Evac Pod.
