As you can see the poor little ship is being partially hidden by the superior intruder and would like to been seen so that it can take part in the fight :D :D

I can't see anywhere else you could put it, unless you wanted it in the middle of you ship.

the main ship image needs moving for when you have the intruder ship which takes up more space
