im rank 296 and im going to quit in the legion im in becuase as most other legions that got stargate in the name they dont do so well anymore but if i joined the dark side would i then have to be a part of your attacks on legion bases, boss battles and elite battles all the time?

We allow players in Darkside to follow their own pursuits.

You are basically free to do whatever, so long as you don't stagnate or go inactive, and chat with us etc.

Legion Wars, Guarding Planets, and Reponding to Player Alerts are all Completely 100% optional.

In fact we encourage you not to bother alerting unless there is cause, and never to attack a player you feel you cannot take on for you level even if that was a legion alerted player.

Enemy Bases:

We do very much like help on bases, but that is not required.

We do ask that you at least hit a base a few times to get a badge for yourself. Otherwise what's the point in killing it, if we can't get a lot of the badges passed out to our members.

We also ask that people ask permission of officers before scanning bases to make sure we aren't screwing up co-ordination with other legions, and to see if enough peopel are on to merit trying for a harder base.

If we lock an L3 base we try to get every slot filled out, so we do not like it when people lock an L3 base, and it gets disabled in a few minutes by an over zelaous member.

NPCs:
We Encourage players to NPC as this allows for ranking up and getting the better NPC Modules and other NPCs lots which are so essential to the game.

That said if you don't want to NPC A Lot, that is understandable especially since some of the missions are very worth-while, or you may have goals to reach that NPCing can interfere with. I tend to NPC for a while then turtle up, then NPC a lot again, in spurts.

Elite NPCs:
However DO NOT attack a Shared Elite NPC unless you will Get a lock within 30 minutes of attacking it.

If you can't lock an Elite don;t bother hitting it.

Boss NPCs:
If you want to take your time on Bosses that's fine, and the really hard ones that the largest players share liek XRPs often have a few members less than lock. However that always leaves the chance someone will come in and steal your place, which is also acceptable when peopel do not get a full lock on a boss.



That's pretty much the run-down on those topics. Generally we just want Active members who enjoy the game.
