Dude, You cannot "snipe' in real life, You have to wait once, Twice, and THEN it's sold, Do you know why? It gives people time to rebutt, instead of people just bidding at 10s left/.

If one makes a bid then logs off and comes back on when the auction is over and then starts bidding war its just BM.

If you make your last bid and you know you wont be there at the end why not bid a sum that you can afford or you think the planet is worth instead of lowballing first and cry later

Mitch, he's got you on that point right there. Like it or not, you weren't online for what ever reason. You're making yourself look bad and it almost sounds like everybody that has an auction has to now wait for you before they close it.

A dyson was for sale that someone got sniped out of, Everyone claimed in the chats that was unfair, How is this no different?

Also,
I'm not trying to make auctions wait for me, this way of ending auctions resolves all problems about sniping, because it is against that, Therefore no one should be complaining.

If that dyson auction had the EXACT same scenario with the EXACT same "end time" then "everyone" was wrong. If the scenario was different in any way whatsoever, or if the so-called "snipe" bid was made AFTER a pre-set end time, then you can't compare the situations.

you must have nothing better to do than keep bidding on an auction that can go on indefinitely. I like most other people don't have the time to sit here waiting for an auction to be extended another 15 minutes

Not saying wait the 15, I'm saying if the bid is too much, you can decide if your going to pull out, instead of that being mandatory, and therefore not giving you time to bid if you wish.

You don't need to, just have people in other parts of the world extend it for you, until you can come back and place a bid yourself.

If you contact the person, and ask them to extend it, WITHIN reason, I believe that would be acceptable.

Guys...it's just a bunch of pixels on a screen. If you're angry you lost some photons, you can grab some from the world around you. Not a big deal.
