 Stat addition problem

A legion mate and I have this same problem. When we add up the items installed on our ship and compare them to what it says it is on the right side stat bar, some of them are higher than what they should be and some are lower. We've checked our math's mutitple times and even though it's only off by a few points and not really a big deal, it could potentially turn into a bigger problem when being effected by lets say 20-30 points per stat. Does anyone else have this problem?

I am counting crew into my calculations.

Are you counting for your crew as well ?

you said you just added up for your items, you also need to count your crew because they add to your stats as well.

weird, it all adds up for me. crew, items in Devices, installed weapons all add up correctly for attack.

crew, items in devices, items in defense/shield all add up correctly for defense.

you have to be overlooking something (not saying that you are). attack and defense modules can be in other areas in your ship, some effect your total attack stats some only effect when doing a certain attack but does not show for your total attack, some add to both your attack and defense totals. any active artifacts ?

what lvl are you i am lvl 63

how far are you off in your calculations ?

For attack:
5x Heavy Phase Cannons @ 75 ea/ = 375
1x Charged Bane Emmiter @ 30 = 30
1x AI supercomputer @ 5 = 5
1x Gamma Channeler @ 10
1x Prototype Mech XV @ 15 attack bonus for invasion. not sure if this applys or not, either way, the total come out to be 420 - 435/Mech....

Stats say:
Size Class: Light Battleship
Space: 373 / 384
Attack: 425
Defense: 79
Scan: 266
Cloak: 180
Cargo: 77 / 240

No buffs on, and I've been through everthing that says anything about Attack..not missing anything. I'll give you all my stats if you want, tomorrow morning, lol tired....zzz

You still forgot to add your crew.

As you point out, your modules add to up 420 attack. You have 5 tactical officers as well.

Well...alright that example failed....It was a late night for me last night.

Scanning Power:
4 Genetarr Transmitters @ 55 scan = 220
1 AI supercomputer @ 5 scan = 5
2 Styrll Transponders @ 20 scan = 40

No buffs comes to 265.

Space: 382 / 389
Attack: 425
Defense: 79
Scan: 266
Cloak: 180
Cargo: 98 / 300

Like I said, It's not a big difference and is benefiting me, just wanted to see if you might check into it before it becomes a bigger problem. No crew for this one :-D

Rerunning all my calculations with a fresh brain this morning, everything is on target except the Scanning which I posted earlier.

Although it has no in-game representation, all players start with a scanning power of 1.
